I have no idea if there's an alive Hamlet fandom out here 👀 but if you are part of it, congrats you fund my 2000's High school AU. 🤷🏻‍♀️😂

Anyway, so there's a ghost. Supposedly its Hamlet Sr. (Mr. Bos told us to never refer to him like that in a paper, but this my blog, so screw it). And when the soldiers get Horatio to see it, hes all like "MERCIFUL HEAVENS" and runs to tell Hamlet Jr. Who's really just Hamlet (see why Mr. Bos said no?)

And Hamlet is all like, "Ghost? WHERE? LET ME SEEEE!" 

so they take him, because well, idk, he's the prince. It's either take him, or take your head off. You tell me.

And Hamlet Sr. ghost says he only wants to talk to Hamlet Jr. 

And the ghost tells Hamlet about his murderer, which makes Hamlet exclaim, "AHA, I KNEW IT, MY UNCLE IS THE DEVIL!" (okay, what he REALLY says is, "O, my prophetic soul! My uncle!" 1.5.48)

Which brings me to the topic of what Hamlet Senior Ghost wants Hamlet Junior Human to do:

A) Take revenge against his uncle DUH

2) Not to do anything to his mother, Gertrude. (altho, she totally deserves it, because there's special references that she had cheated on him before he died. "Leave her to heaven/And to those thorns that in her bosom lodge/To prick and sting her" 1.5.93-95)

and D) To not go crazy.. Which I found quite funny, since Hamlet tells Horatio and the soldiers, "How strange or odd some'er I bear myself/(As I perchance hereafter shall think meet/To put an antic disposition on)" 1.5.190-192 Which basically means that he's gonna act crazy.
