Hammer World Editor and the Steam Directory: Tip
Discovered a mishap with the directory when saving files.
If you save a map that is somewhere else on your comp, the initial game that is loaded from your saved place... Will directly load from the Steam directory.
This means that the files that you saved in another place will not be referenced unless you take the BSP and the NAV, and place them in the folder you want.
Preferably, it's better to find the .BSP and .NAV in your Steam < L4D2 < Maps folder when you're done with editing your map.
Then copy and paste them into another folder to be ready for compiling.
Emphasis on "copy" because you don't to lose the material you've worked hard on.
