Teddy’s lived on Pandora all his life, so he knows the scariest of creatures that the planet has to offer. But to see one up close -- this close! -- sparks panic, and it’s instinctive at this point to grip onto the nearest thing, and usually it’d be Dad and his leg or arm, but...
Sir Hammerlock’s voice sounds, at least, kind rather than abrasive, or annoyed, despite Teddy’s grip rivalling an iron vice. “Sorry,” he mutters, taking two small and shuffling steps back, “got scared.” Still eyeing the creature warily, despite it’s apparent docile nature, he takes another baby-step backwards, then checks behind him -- never be too careful.
“I’ve only been around skags close up before,” he says, a semi-octave louder than before, but not daring to venture further. There’s more explanations and ramblings dancing on the tongue, about his fondness for George and the girls, but he figures he’s already pushing his luck by just being here, and having squeezed Sir Hammerlock’s arm tightly which would surely annoy even the most patient of people. And... the thing about the face, as well. Surely a sore point, too.
