Hey hey for everyone that loved the early 2000s Hamtaro figures, we're finally getting something similar this September! These are small figurines that come in blind boxes, they will be sold in the candy aisle of stores (I think it's like the candy section by the registers in US grocery stores.) In Japan they put one piece of candy in these blind boxes, that way they can be displayed in the candy section.
The Flocked design reminds my of the Sylvannia figures, I always wanted some as a kid but remember them being so expensive. When I found out there were Sylvannia stores in Japan it brought be back memories of walking around a toystore in my hometown. Too bad I already have too many other obessions...
No idea how big these figures are going to be, it would be really cool if they were the same size as the 2000s epoch figures!
So far there's 6 Ham-ham to collect, and each box costs 540 yen without tax. Butttttt maybe there's two mystery ham-hams to collect? The premium Bandai site is selling the full set, and that price would be in line with buying 8 boxes....if there are mystery ham-hams to collect, who would you want it to be??
