I went a little crazy setting up a "house" for my Mummy 1999 Sims. I kind of love it tho.

The crossover I didn't realize I needed
As much as I loved “The Mummy Returns” as a kid, it’s lowkey hilarious watching it now as an adult. And not the parts meant to be funny, I mean the parts meant to be taken seriously:
1) Rick O’Connell suddenly has a backstory where he’s descended from Medjay warriors. Like, he was just some dude in the first one, now he’s some chosen one destined to stop the Scorpion King.
2) Speaking of retcons, Evelyn O’Connell suddenly has a backstory where she’s a reincarnation of Nefertiti and that she just so happens to be the one who ordered the Medjay to stop Imhotep and Anck-Su-Namun. She literally was just a random librarian in the first movie who stumbled upon the map to Hamunaptra.
3) Ardeth Bay somehow knows where the O’Connells live even though he stayed behind in Egypt at the end of the first movie.
4) The awkward smash cut from the Scorpion King dominating the first battle to his forces having lost the war. It’s like they focused too much on making Dwayne Johnson look as badass as possible that they forgot the Scorpion King was supposed to lose the conflict.
5) Jonathan’s golden stick thing he found just so happens to be the Spear of Osiris, the one thing that can kill the Scorpion King.
6) Two awkward shots; Meela Nais killing herself to bring back Anck-Su-Namun and Imhotep running in right after Rick stabs the Scorpion King. Those shots are just unintentionally hilarious.
7) The CGI. Oh lord, the CGI.
8) This might just be me missing an important detail but the rules regarding resurrections are inconsistent. So, to resurrect Anck-Su-Namun, they needed a human sacrifice. But when Alex resurrects Evelyn, all he needed to do was read the correct phrases. I don’t know, this was just funny to me.
9) As soon as Alex puts the bracelet on, the Rock’s mouth just bursts out towards the camera. Like, how can you expect an audience to focus on the rest of the scene when that’s how the scene starts.
