yall unrelated to the post im just dropping this here what do you mean the entire reason my username exists just reblogged my art from a couple days ago WHAT DO YOU MEAANNNNNNNNNNN WHAAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! TADC TALK BEGINS HERE:
not too proud of this art but HERE GOES.
okay so i picked them based off of personality/traits the little guys have,
Chococat/Pomni: Both are logical, intuitive, and thoughtful according to the wiki, but also from what it describes chococat it says his whiskers "catch all kinds of information, so he is often the first to know about things," which I think is fitting for pomni because she just keeps ending up in situations that she tries to solve without realizing 90% of the time.
Usahana/Ragatha: I'm just gonna drop the description of Usahana's personality and her backstory since I think it's self explanatory:
"Usahana had always imagined being able to cross a rainbow someday because after a storm, she would see a big, full rainbow coming from the lighthouse. She decided to go up to the lighthouse, thinking about all the fun things she could do with a rainbow, and she was so excited! But just as she was on her way there, she noticed a little snail emerging from a bush and asked Usahana to help her down to the ground. She did just that and continued on her way. She then bumped into her friend on the beach and helped her retrieve a balloon that was stuck in a tree. She was so caught up in helping her friends that the rainbow from the lighthouse faded away. She was disappointed, but there was nothing she could do. However, on her way home, she looked down at her reflection in a puddle and noticed that her body was covered in all the different colors of the rainbow! As it turned out, the rainbow granted her wish because she had done so many good deeds."
Wish-Me-Mell/Gangle: So I picked Wish-Me-Mell because of her backstory while also some of the personality. SO, according to the wiki, "described her as "shy" and "withdrawn," asking fans to send as many encouraging Tweets as possible to show herself," and her backstory appears to be this: "Mell is withdrawn from everyone, believing she doesn't have any friends. Ciel, looking at this situation, asked everyone to send as many letters to everyone to make her come out. As Mell reads the letter, she felt for the first time, the warmth of caring in her heart, reminding her that she really has friends to care for her. She decides to come out of her house for the first time and meet up with Lutz, becoming a postman in order to connect everyone's hearts, just like how everyone connected theirs to hers."
AND Hanamaruobake/Zooble: finding one for zooble was by far the hardest. like it felt impossible. it still feels a little odd, given marumaru looks a lot like gangle, BUT here's my reasoning. according to the wiki, "Marumaru is a shy, mysterious ghost who appears without warning to give you a hanamaru for your daily efforts. Everyone has their own Hanamaruobake that comes in different forms, like a future goal or an important memory, that motivates them to keep working hard every day."
NOW how does this correlate to Zooble?? Well: like Pomni and Kinger, Zooble has a tendency to bring others back from their darkest moments and extend olive branches when they feel it's necessary. They extend an olive branch to Jax, saying it's okay to open up to people. In Episode 8, they're the one to tell him that he's "one of them," and that they don't want to see him abstract. The more obvious examples that are less overlooked though, is how Zooble is with Gangle in Ep 4, Ep 5, and Ep 6.
They're shy, definitely, and seem to have a difficulty properly expressing their emotions which makes them SEEM mysterious to others, but sometimes you see parts of their true personality come out in times like those. So...I think its fitting. marumaru also holds a pencil usually, so i made it a tattoo pen. hehe.
