Sleeping On Your Hands

Am I the only one who believed people genuinely slept on their hands? Like, okay, when you do it awake, your hands are imitating a pillow. But for years as a child I believed there were some who slept comfortably with their hands between their head and the pillow. I also thought that I was simply one of those who found resting my head on my arms or hands horribly uncomfortable. I can't remember when I realised I was wrong. Must have been an enlightening day though.
