Voltron Legendary Defender Handball AU AKA Altean Lions

Coran is the coach along side Shiro who is also the Maneger. Allura and Kuron who are the team captains, working together as close friends and Lance, Pidge, Matt and Keith who are field players while Hunk’s the goalkeeper.

Voltron University - It’s colours are Red, Blue, Green, Yellow, Black and White     - the schools weapon symbol is a winged shield with a black diamond in the           middle and red and green at the upper sides and Blue and Yellow at the               lower sides, the weapon also have a golden crown.     - It was once a power-school but hit rock bottom and lost all contacts with               other schools, now it’s slowly rising from the mud to become a power-school       once more.         - Voltron University’s biggest rival is Galra High.

Kuron and Takashi “Shiro” Shirogane - Kuron and Shiro are Twins; Shiro is the oldest and was born on the 29th   February while Kuron was born on the 1st march.     - They both lost their right hand in a car accident.     - Shiro left the court to instead Coach and be the team’s manager     - Kuron kept playing and took up the mantle of Captain along with Allura.         - Kuron is a little shit, but just as dead inside as Shiro.         - They constantly have these really dark morbid inside jokes, that scares               the shit out of the others.              - Kuron’s Claustrophobic and not a fan of cramped spaces.              - Shiro and Kuron got P-T-S-D after the accident and they both bond                      over their handicap.

Allura Altea - Allura is the daughter to Alfor who’s the principal on Voltron University.     - She bleaches her hair white.     - Captain of the Altean Lions.         - Her mother died when she was 10.         - Coran is pretty much her stepdad.

Coran Hieronymus Wimbleton Smythe - Coran is the teams Coach.     - Very dramatic during games.     - Old friend to Alfor and kind of Allura’s second father         - Don’t say anything about his cooking... unless you want to run several                 laps around the school dressed in a hula skirt.

Katie “Pidge” Holt - Pidge was smart enough to get in despite being a few years to young.     - She is small so she’s often forgotten on the field, wich she uses to her                 advantage.     - Will make you regret mentioning her height.         - Her father is one of the teachers.              - He is the Teacher who makes sure the teams grades doesn’t drop.

Matthew “Matt” Holt - Matt Is just as tired as Shiro and Kuron.     - Was in the car accident with them, but only got some scars to prove it.     - Loves to mess with Pidge and the others.         - Buy him coffee and he will love you forever.

Lance McClain - Lance is levelheaded during games, unless there are pretty girls cheering for       the opposite team.     - He was close to choose Swimming instead of Handball.     - More often than not dragged into Pidge and Matts shenanigans.     - has seen Shiro Hula-Hooping          “No one will ever believe you.”          “You quiznak!”     - Loves when his family comes to watch his games.

Tsuyoshi “Hunk” Garrett - Hunk is the teams Goalkeeper.     - Despite his size he is very agile, he can do a split in the air without problem.     - Mom Friend™     - Had a fear of balls coming towards him in high speed, worked his way past         it, now it’s just a displeasure.         - Childhood friend with Lance.

Keith Kogane - Keith’s a transferstudent from Galra High.     - He’s fast and agile on and off the field     - He may seem like an animal on the hunt during intense games     - May appear cold and unapproachable at first but is pretty chill once you get         to know him.         - Orphan, lives alone in a one room flat close to campus.         - Has a Somali cat named Red.             - Draws and sketches in his free time.

6. Did you write for a new fandom or ship this year?

I wrote two fics for a German fandom (Tatort Saarbrücken, lovingly called Spatort), one of which I posted. The other one was read by a good friend, but will probably not be posted in the future.

I also did a very very very short thingy for a gorgeous art work from Star Wars/Obikin that is somewhere on my blog and I forgot to add it to ao3

7. What fic meant the most to you to write?

My handball AU WIP, of which i've only posted snippets so far, because it's not (close to being) done, but it means a lot to me on multiple levels. a) handball and everything that comes with it, b) it made me dive even deeper into my favourite sport and understanding everything there is to know, c) writing my so far longest fic and being able to lose myself in the planning and thinking and aaaaaaaa, d) my first big AU! and one that doesn't build on any other fic i've read (since i have yet to find a handball AU in any fandom I know even the bare minimum from) so i'm doing literally every single thing from the ground up lol, e) writing a relationship in a longer and more plotty fic is soooo difficult whoa, f) you do not want to see the organisational part of this, because i literally try to keep track of so many things, ...

the list could probably go on, but TLDR it's a lot of firsts for me and i'm far too passionate about the sport so yeah

8. What fic made you feel the happiest to work on?

same as above! It combines my favourite things, and is also closely connected to how much deeper I got into the sport this year anyways (which has made me unimaginably happy and will continue to do so). i'm already immensely proud of this fic and i'm honestly so exited to work on it more and show it to people one day <3

i saw that thing about kageyama playing handball and i kind of wanted to say hinata would be good at it bc speed and jumping and stuff but there is a 10000% chance that he'd get trampled so

YES and what if Hinata played back, with Tanaka or Nishinoya (when Noya's not playing goalie) as pivot and Asahi as centre and Kageyama as wing, and they clear him a path so he can shoot it straight into the goal. Hinata would be unstoppable.
