It will be a pillow when I find a form for it. Love how these cakes came together. Alternated colors from the same color line. Easy way to make it look complicated but still enjoy some fairly mindless and peaceful afternoon knit space. I’m feeling all the fall feels today. Cold windy morning set me off into the day decked out with woolens. Fire in the wood stove. Leaves 🍁everywhere are changing and falling. Question for the creators in here… how do you respond when someone compliments your handmade garment or accessory? Today I tried “perks of being a knitter” which totally felt awkward after I said it a couple times lol. But saying “thanks, I knit it” feels weird too. I like the conversations that sometimes follow though when the compliment-tee realized you’ve made it. I finished the Cabled Tree pillow by Amanda Pratt of @hypnotichysteria! Paid pattern available on the CinDWood looms website. I used the @knittingboard KB 80 peg premium round loom, which made a 16 inch pillow cover. The yarn is @patonsyarn Classic Wool Worsted in Jade heather. I’m very happy with it!
