When I was a lot younger I used to move furniture around, a lot! Like sometimes, I’d get on a roll and switch whole rooms around. My partner at the time would come home and sit down for dinner in the before lounge room. She never complained about about it though. I suppose I was seeking change and this rearranging and space shifting gave me an immediate lift and sense of control. I don’t tend to do the big moves as much anymore, but I still love to shift objects, plants, wall hangings so they create new vistas indoors. I particularly love bringing the garden inside. A beautiful bunch of flowers and plants really do make a space sing.
