I currently study at Northbrook and have met some awesome people so far including my good friend Xana Frankish. (Check out her page too) Anyway over a year ago while studying for the extended diploma course, we decided to start a small acoustic band with just the two of us with me doing vocals/harmonies and playing keys while she also did vocals, this was only because we wanted to perform at local gigs for college but never took it too seriously, so this year since starting university we realised that there are so many different venues around Worthing and Brighton to perform at so we though it would be best to make a name for ourselves and try to get some paid gigs which we would like to achieve by the end of the year instead of having a £5 an hour job *yawn* which I currently do unfortunately…At least it makes me realise how much I want to leave my job and start earning money by doing something I love!
To sum up, in the last couple of weeks, we’ve created our band name, thought about our image as a band and got together a new set list including:

Nothing In My Way - Keane
Breezeblocks - Alt-j
Too Close - Alex Clare
Treasure - Bruno Mars
All the songs have a twist or are stylistically different including the vocal arrangement and soon we will get all of these songs recorded so you lovely people can hear our stuff!
