what an amazing drama. a female lead who takes charge of her own fate and grows and learns so well, a male lead who is 100% supportive and genuine, 2 genuinely evil villains who made each scene sinister and instilled so much anger in me, a classic well deserved happy ending. mmh i love you so much. i wish yura wasnt introduced and we got to see juran and seokjoons relationship (especially as he was such a simp in the webtoon) but i loved it and it is officially one of my favourites
i see taemin next sunday and i have vip and my heart keeps going at the thought of it
no miscommunication trope, direct confessions and conversations with the two leads...mmh you will always be famous
im not usually a fan of "they knew each other when they were children/already met before" trope but i genuinely think msm has done it in such a lovely way. it fits with the story and is quite relevant, and all the things they liked about each other in the past are characteristics theyve kept and which come naturally to them so it proves their love now is genuine
it may seem like bare minimum but it was so refreshing to hear a male lead say "i wont do anything you dont want" and assuring the female lead if shes uncomfortable or wants him to stop he will. im so used to seeing male leads pursue persistently so this just proves how much jihyuk respects jiwon and how he genuinely is prioritising her happiness above everything
it makes it so special that jiwon is the one who confessed. im so proud of how shes taking fate into her own hands and making sure she gets all the good things she deserves
