Okay so this probably isn’t a moment when they would use it, since this isn’t a “show mishap” as much as it is a full on tragedy
But if a circus show has a problem, the ringmaster would yell “Clown Allez!” (summoning clowns from the clown alley, or motor homes later on, where they put on makeup and store their props), along with playing “Stars and Stripes Forever,” and the clowns would distract the audience with a prepared routine
So anyways I’m just thinking about Dick Grayson going through one of the worst things a kid could go through and the circus clowns being summoned to distract the audience and Dick always having that association and it not making it any better whenever he has to face down Joker and his clown goons

I think a lot of Gothamites in-universe would suspect several of them being his kids. But I didn’t add “multi/all of the above” because I think that option would win in a landslide.
If there was one superhero you could voice who would it be I would pick Richard Grayson
I've seen Dustin Nguyen and Jeff Lemire's Robin & Batman series taken out of context a lot, especially since a lot of people seem to think it's part of the main timeline or use it as proof that one of the robins is evil, excessively angry or violent, mean, a bad robin, etc, so I want to talk about it. The Nguyen books are a dark elseworld exploring what the trauma of being a child fighting crime and the backgrounds of the robins may look like. It's specifically a story about trauma, which is why I find it so frustrating when people use it to say one of the robins is a bad kid. This applies to both Grayson and Jason, they're both traumatized children in this series.
Starting with Robin & Batman (2021) The Grayson series.
So, let's start with the fact that it's explicitly a story about Bruce training a child soldier, to his own admission. When Alfred criticizes him for treating Grayson as if he were a soldier and lacking compassion, Bruce agrees and declares that it's necessary that Grayson is not allowed to be a child.
With that established, the story starts with a motif of Grayson fearing that he will be consumed by darkness and feeling that he may deserve that suffering, which repeats throughout the entire story. That darkness is tied back to both the danger and grim reality of a kid being exposed to violent crime, and the feeling of drowning in that darkness mirrors the way that Bruce's increasing pressure on him to be a perfect hero and more like Bruce himself is causing him to lose parts of himself. There is an expectation throughout the entire comic that he be serious, brutally efficient, and isolated, just like Bruce. Anything childish he likes is judged, he is expected to be violent, and the isolation comes both from having to spend all his time as Robin and from him not being allowed to trust anyone. We see these expectations even from the first fight, where Bruce is already criticizing and calling his mission a failure before Grayson has even had a chance.
That isolation grows in several ways, clearly wearing on Grayson throughout the story as he does want to make friends. It even extends beyond Bruce's practical reasoning about time and safety into him fearing that meeting more people will mean disappointing them after Bruce's constant criticism has left his self-esteem shattered. Even meeting other sidekicks as a birthday present is used as a training exercise, reminding him he's not allowed to really trust them, when he reports he's clearly upset, which Bruce ignores and states that if he didn't get a childhood why should Grayson. We even see him turning down interacting with his peers at school to put Robin first. Even at the ending where he has to go against Killer Croc, he chooses to do so along, citing that it's how Bruce would do it, so he has to.
The conflict surrounding his suit design is also a good representation of how Bruce has worn down Grayson's self-esteem. The Robin name and suit are both symbols of his family and who he is, and yet he chose them as an act of rebellion against Bruce, calling out multiple times how Bruce would hate the costume and find it embarrassing, which Bruce only confirms when he calls it ridiculous. He even confirms after insulting the suit that he knew the origins of the design. The reveal that Bruce knew about the costume design also highlights how little privacy Grayson has, and with how harshly Bruce judges everything he does, this means there's no safe space for him, not even a journal meant to hold his thoughts.
Even looking at the designs shows the difference between the two characters. The suit Grayson made for himself has blocky letters and slightly brighter colors, vs Bruce's design made with sharp angles, armor paneling, and more black, it's clearly meant as armor where Grayson made a costume.
There's also a repeated problem throughout the story where Grayson isn't allowed to speak up for himself. Even when Alfred tries to intervein with Bruce to speak for Grayson he's also dismissed. This also happens away from Bruce, while he was being bullied, he fought back physically when the circus was brought up and gets called to the principal's office where he tries to tell his side but was ignored.
Alfred acts as a counterpoint to Bruce's abuse by calling it out and trying to support Grayson. He encourages Grayson to express his emotions and not cave to the expectation that he acts just like Bruce. He also argues against Bruce allowing Grayson to skip school, valuing Grayson's future and childhood while Bruce only mentions his value as a vigilante. Even then he isn't given much freedom to actually speak against Bruce for most of the story.
The ending is hopeful, with Grayson deciding to be himself and embrace friendship, even when it's still hard with the pressure that's still present, and the darkness that is still present as a vigilante. It's a moment where we get to see how different he is away from Bruce's expectations, allowing himself to have fun, be a kid, and trust people, while still being Robin.
