I'm a big fan of the broken-human-meets-monster-best-friend-they-didn't-know-they-needed genre.
Starting a collection of this year’s weirdos
I love showing someone a film and it changes their whole life and perspective.
I showed my mum "Spaceman" feat. Adam Sandler, who normally neither of us particularly enjoy, but this is probably his absolute best film that he's ever done, and when it was finished she just sat there for a moment trying to take it all in.
It is one of the most thought and emotion provoking films that I know of out there, and I would honestly recommend it to anyone who enjoys indie-like films with excellent directing, beautiful cinematography, and emotionally charged scenes akin to free therapy. Also space, and a sentient alien spider.
Some doodles I’ve drawn! (Also Henry’s from a 4 part series called the stairs on yt) also some freaky bill and ford (and creep cast is here, for some reason)
everyone should have their own emotional support quantic spider to solve our interpersonal reliationships
Just learnt that the Spaceman 2024 movie is actually an adaptation to a NOVEL??? NOW I NEED TO READ IT GIVE IT TO ME NOW.
I need to see how much Jakub and Hanuš interact and how many plot points were edited or taken away for the movie. How different their personalities are, how their friendship varys between the two.
My gosh.
Please guys WATCH THE MOVIE IT'S SO GOOD
I'm watching Spaceman on Netflix. Have been wanting to for awhile. And i find Hanus terrifying to look at, I've always been afraid of spiders. Instinctively, looking at him and his size makes me want to bolt. But at the same time, his voice is soft, and his words are softer.
And I'm interested, because that makes me want to resist that instinct.
