I know Hanush and Hans have a strained relationship, but I've always wondered if Hans has ever asked Hanush about his father. Or if the two of them have ever reminisced about Hans's parents.

Hanush is one of the few connections to Hans's parents, and the two spend more time arguing with each other than actually sharing memories and that's both happy and sad.

Like Hanush is his uncle. He probably grew up with Hans's father. He sees his brother in his Hans, I'm sure.

Like there's another layer in their relationship--

Hanush no longer has a brother. Hans no longer has a father. Hanush knows things about Hans's father Hans never knows, and Hans is his last connection to his brother.

Do you think Hanush has ever seen Hans at a certain angle and seen brother? Do you think Hans wonders if Hanush looks like his father, because he doesn't remember him? Do you think Hanush speaks of his childhood, and Hans clings on to every word because he gets bits and pieces of his father?

love how deeply the influence of religion is shown in Henry's life and his choices, even when he's not explicitly being religious. But his tendency to be such a monarchist and refuse to question the authority of those in power because at this time he does believe that God chooses who gets to be nobility is incredibly maddening but the norm for people back then.

It sucks because Henry would make a great ruler. His courage, his skills, his prowess and dedication to people makes it such. On top of that, he demonstrates an eagerness to learn all the skills nobility was handed, and puts those to use in helping people.

Like he'd genuinely be a good Lord and steward of his people. And ultimately, he'd create a place for him where he'd be safe.

And he also embodies the qualities of a True Knight--again--without being noble born.

If he was born just a few centuries later, he'd probably be ennobled, given his own land, and have his own noble house.

I honestly think if Hanush could and if Hanush was born later, he would have somehow weaseled Henry into being the lord of somewhere solely based off of the dedication Henry puts into his work for it.

It must be maddening for Hanush to be in the proximity of an individual who actually tries despite having nothing, but due to religion, social norms, and the time period, he cannot truly ennoble him.

(and if Henry does become a noble, don't tell me! I haven't finished the game!)

Martin being a maia and pouring his magic into Henry is the reason Henry stays alive despite his close calls with death. Henry is not a maia by blood, but his proximity to Martin gives him the abilities of one, and eventually the choice to "be" one.
