Visited Hao Noodle’s Chelsea location earlier this week where we tried a variety of their entree and dim sum dishes, including the spam skewer, the steamed pork soup buns, the fried pork chop with garlic, the eight spices crispy tofu, and the braised fresh lamb noodles. For dessert, we split the soy bean pudding with shaved earl gray tea ice, which tasted a bit different from what I expected but was still interesting. The lamb noodles were a bit spicier than we both expected but still good, and I enjoyed the seasoning they used for the spam skewer, along with the crispy tofu and fried pork chop, which was basically a tonkatsu dish.

Hao Noodle just opened a new branch in Chelsea and it's just as tasty as the first one.

Hao Noodle and Tea in the West Village is some of the most delicious Chinese food I’ve ever had in NYC. These are only two dishes out of the eight we ordered. Thinly sliced pork belly and a pork belly noodle soup. So so yummy.

Catch It: Madam Zhu’s Kitchen There I was in Greenwich Village, trekking to the Jefferson Market Library. I felt a cool breeze on a sunny afternoon, and a pretty local establishment caught my attention.
