Haoticat lore part one

Haoticats are a alein speices that resemble anthropomorphic cats with big paws a maw with large teeth and small hove like feet paws
Typically with long tails
the part of the haoticat you actually see isn't the actual creature the creature is actually a black sludge boi and the outside is a shell
They're sludge is full of senors and with the shell the overwhelming senses are died down to a digestable amount
Their life source is a glowing orb held within the sludge and since the sludge isn't strong enough to protect it they have a shell
Tho they have cracks that show thru the shell and can open up
No reason it's just cool
They have eyes! But they keep that inside the shell as they're creatures who spend most of their time in dark areas or caves or burrows the light hurts their eyes so they keep it inside the shell
If they wish to see all they have to do is peer through the mouth and the mouth has shade so the light doesn't hurt their eyes as much when they do
Their teeth and spines aren't made of bone instead it's stale old sludge they've shed wich they use to replicate bones
They're sludge is basically a nervous system
During fall they molt and shed their skin this is usually right before winters hybernation
Anything they eat kind of just is like composts and turns into more sludge haoticats rarely need to eat
