how do you get rid of a contracted demon?

Castiel felt a wave of inappropriately-timed enthusiasm wash over him, and he grinned hugely at the stranger.

“You can’t,” he replied, greatly amused, “unless you can track down the Demon who holds the deal and destroy them. It’s quite a feat though. How did you end up in such a situation in the first place?”
