hey

wanna hear a fun thing that recently happened in nova's life

on friday, i went out with my nearest and dearest (who go to completely different schools and colleges to me so it makes me cry welp) and Naz and Pri bought me balloons

helium balloons

fucking helium balloons

and they'd been in a hurry to meet me so they hadn't looked at the balloons themselves properly

so i ended up with 5 balloons in various shades of red and pink

with "21" all over them

but aw, they'd written messages in marker on the balloons

and one of them said "30 SECONDS TO MARS" and then "jared leto, hey? ;)"

unfort, I had to let that one go before I went home cos that is vastly inappropriate, it's just terrible

but awww my girls

tl;dr: nova gets balloons

so i went to the careers fair at my school

omfg

there was only one thing that interested me

and that was journalism

and the journalism guy was so amazing omg we spoke for ages and he was like "yeah you seem really creative!" and then at the end omg

he said, "the way you've asked questions now tells me you've already got that knack of getting all the right answers. all your questions seemed to flow, you know what i mean?" omg

he has cheered me right up

my mother doesn't think it was worth it, of course, because i only spoke to one person at one stall, and it was cold

but fuck that because nova is HAPPY

fucking nova's gonna be a fuckin journalist for a fuckin niche magazine or a fuckin newspaper and maybe she'll write about fuckin politics or perhaps some fuckin history
