It was Lisa’s birthday. So we all joined her at Town Pizza in Highland Park for a pizza feast and celebration. Myself, Bob, Janis’s, Kate, Mark and Lisa settled at a table near the front of Town under the red glare of the neon open sign to get acquainted, gab and share slices of few a Italia the pie. We shared a large mushroom and rosemary and I added a small sausage and another small pesto. They were small. When discussing it was the waitress I suggested they we personal personal size pizzas. There were some good stories tossed around. Mark and I ended up talking about Ron Howard because he’d recently spoke at AFI and I had shot him at the Thirteen Lives premiere. We both agreed that Ron was an exceptional filmmaker who we both relate very strongly for a number of reasons.
