On #happysenioryearchallenge
I realized I didn’t really explain this before starting this ‘challenge’, so here we go.
It was deeply inspired by Xandra of Heroine Training [here’s the post about it] -- in fact I remember telling her I’d do my own version (I can’t find that comment though). I’m in my senior year and I want it to be something nice. My college experience was really intense and, well, I basically suffered my way through it (not really academically, but personally, psychologically speaking) and to this day I’m still having an abnormally heavy workload. I’ll tell you all about that someday.
So the thing is I’m pretty happy to be finishing this phase in my life and even happier to be able to do new, exciting things! I got plenty of projects and ideas in my mind: get my driver’s license, get certifications on the languages I can speak, learn more languages, and, of course, entering the labor force. These ideas make me excited about finishing but I know really well how important it is to live in the present. If you want to be happy tomorrow, be happy starting today. That’s this challenge motto for me.
If you want to take/create your own challenge, you’re free to do it! It could be about your senior year, freshmen year, a year learning Russian, whatever! The original challenge by Xandra was, in fact, a thesis challenge! Just make it nice, beautiful, HAPPY, and keep us updated. You’ll love it.
