When I saw the trailers for Hardcore Henry I thought it looked great, but I was concerned that the first-person action film gimmick wouldn't work in a feature-length film. Luckily, my fears were unfounded.

Każdy, nawet największy nudziarz myśli czasem, żeby przeżyć jazdę bez trzymanki. Czy w takim razie film “Hardcore Henry” jest odpowiedzią na tego typu zachcianki?
Oczywiście, fani gier komputerowych doskonale znają FPS (first person shooter) czyli napierdalankę, znaczy strzelankę w pierwszej osobie. Próba przeniesienia logiki gier FPS i patrzenia na świat z perspektywy pierwszej osoby często kusiła filmowców. Stąd też wielka popularność filmów takich jak “Blair Witch Project” czy “Cloverfield” (o wdziecznym polskim tytule Projekt:Monster (?)). Zresztą same ekranizacje gier posiadały sceny w stylu FPS jak np. drętwa i nijaka produkcja "Doom" gdzie jedną z głównym ról zagrał "The Rock" czyli Dwayne Johnson. W zasadzie tego typu rozwiązania można było zobaczyć w teledyskach i warto tu wymienić choćby rosyjską grupę Biting Elbows z piosenką "Bad Matherfucker".
I dlatego zwracam na nią uwagę, ponieważ ta produkcja wygląda naprawdę zajebiście. Akcja, pomysł, zabawa, poczuć się można jak prawdziwy i realny bohater, który napierdala po dachach, siłuje się z psem i walczy z rosyjską (?) mafią. Teraz dzięki wsparciu fanów na platformie Kickstarter wyjdzie “Hardcore Henry”, czy będzie to produkcja udana? Oby, bo aktorstwo też jest ciekawe, warto wymienić choćby Sharlto Copley (znany z serialu “Powers” czy filmu “Elizjum”), którego akcent jest po prostu nie do podrobienia. Ostrze sobie na nią zęby i po prostu: trzymam kciuki!
