Some important things to take note:
Subbing is a very tedious process, especially when you’re not familiar with the process. But it gets easier once you practice enough.
Choose the right video resolution. High resolution videos might sound appealing, but only choose this option if you’re prepared to wait. (Encoding time for HD/HQ videos can stretch over HOURS, cause your computer to lag and heat up)
Cut your video into parts! It takes VERY long to encode long videos, you can always merge your videos later if you want the video in one file.
How long does it take to encode?
It depends on your video resolution and length, as well as your computer CPU. A SD video thats around 20 minutes long takes around 20 minutes on my Macbook air, while shorter, low resolution videos can take as little as 5 minutes. Long HD videos may stretch over 7 hours, beware!
