I'm terrible about tagging others, so feel free to join in.

Music Bingo🎶
Rules: Mark out the artists you listen to or the free space on the one labeled with my name. Then you take a screenshot or picture of that bingo and post it so I can see. Next, take a pic of the empty bingo and write your own music artists in it. Then leave a blank image as well so other people can screenshot the image and keep the game going.

top 5 new york experiences you have had in your life. doesnt have to be touristy just capture the new york vibe.
ask me my top five anything!!!
old people always talk to me while im waiting for the bus i dont know why my energy attracts them, but it does. my favorite old man asked me how to use the bus time app, told me he got fired from an office for taking the receptionist/chorus girl out for extra long lunches, forgot the word for vice president and used “underboss” instead, had an extremely thick italian american accent of course.
watching movies that take place in new york,in new york, and feeling the theater audience tense up in cringe or sigh in pride
the heinous high school application process, which is (and i am not exaggerating) worse than applying for college. did you know you have to apply to public schools in new york? you don’t just get assigned to one in your neighborhood, you have to interview and test (standardized style) to be accepted into public school. i went through all that, got into one that was close-ish but physically didnt have enough space for all the incoming class, got into another that was 3 hours away, and wound up going to an “independent” school with nepotism children after they offered me copious financial aid
i havent done it much mind u, but the times ive cried on public transport while listening to music feel really quintessential. i also love that a lot of songs have become so tied to different bus routes, one reminds me of the other.
going on a tour of historical lgbtq+ landmarks in middle school with the cultural awareness for everyone club i was apart of sdfkjhdskfjdh. i did not think i was going to end with this but in retrospect, would i have gotten that history that early anywhere else? also, would i have gotten it so tangibly?
honestly i think the most new york experience for me is talking to other new yorkers. even when i was a lot less extroverted than i used to be, i loved making friends with cool strangers for a minute. boston people are sooooo different in a lot of (bad) ways and one of them is the fact that they dont have the new yorker “Ill talk to anyone” energy, i cant wait to get out
