So I caught up on the update and HOLY SHIT!!! Yeah Otto and Arora scare me so bad /pos

Like Jesus so much about them is such heavy whiplash. I feel so bad and then I'm almost drawn into their sorrow and then they turn around with these lines that remind you of who they really are

They are incredibly sad as a whole, to be neglected so heavily by their father, rejected, and nearly killed. Then taking all that helplessness and hatred and spreading it into the world around them. I do really appreciate that their incest isn't just some weird shock factor thing too. It's still fucked up but you can see where that came about

What a pair man. Not to mention their trial has my new favourite feature. Basic math.

thinkin about the comics again bc I looked over them while drawing and its kinda scary how patient Coyle was before the trials

like in Sinyala, I feel like Coyle maybe seems more impatient bc of the experiments done on him and because his job is to actively stop you through the trials and so he's gotta take every chance he gets to kill you

but in the comic, he's going about his day knowing Clyde is following and watching him and he doesn't do anything about it. He makes it clear that he was aware that he was being followed but he waited. I'd love to know what Coyle was thinking during that. It almost felt like a hunting tactic, waiting for his 'prey' to come to him.

I wonder what Coyle would have done if Clyde never approached him. I feel like he would have eventually confronted Clyde and it probably would have gone the way it did in the bar.

I just think it's a cool detail and I wonder if Coyle has any of that hunting patience left in him.

so... i had an idea for a prime asset [i still have an ex-pop idea but its barely a concept and just a name so i need to think hard on that one] BUT REGARDLESS

the idea I had was a music conductor called "The Maestro"

might be an old dude ? but like full white hair old. my biggest issue was his role? because I was like "oh he can be a teacher" but the teacher role is with gooseberry with her trials which makes sense bc of her mother role too

but now im kinda stuck, I was thinking maybe he could represent like a boss? maybe a strict boss of some kind but idk if a music conductor would fit that role and if it does, how do I make it fit. hopefully I'll come up with something but this is just me spitballin here

more rambling but less about oc stuff, just general creative uh rant? but I think I struggle with producing dark/angsty content as much as i'd like to

and outlast is one of my favourite games and I appreciate the horror and tragedy. I see so many people in the fandom explore that same stuff with their ocs and sonas or even the canon characters and I love it sooo much, it makes me want to do the same

but its intimidating for me to explore because I feel ridiculous doing it? that or I worry about handling it poorly

its either I feel like people will see it and think im weird or even worse, I'll hurt someone by writing something wrong. I've experienced some fucked up things in my life, I feel like thats fair to say and I am trying to project that in my writing and my sona but it usually never leaves my daydreams because im really embarrassed about sharing that stuff

outlast feels like the perfect outlet for it because 1. its a comfort game and 2. its got a lotta horror that I can relate with or use to cope in some form

even with my ocs I worry about going too far, but I do feel a little closer to being more open with them

anyways thats my rant for the night FDSGFHH
