Systech - collection
phase shifter, envelope follower, overdrive, harmonic energizer
"Systech is go! I don’t know how many were issued in black, but I now have the option of Overdrive>Phaser in both Glam and Goth Mode. The phasers are different circuits - the red one is optical. As enclosures go, these are up there with Maestro and Mutron for US style leaders. I am still looking for the flanger Charlie Wicks of Systech went on to start ProCo, so the Systech Overdrive is an ancestor of the Rat, although much more aggressive with its narrow and mobile band pass filter - think fuzz with a cocked wah turbocharger that you can place wherever you like. The Energizer, which preceded the Overdrive, had control over the width of the filter band as well, but as a consequence had no master volume and a mental 55db of gain. Going by this small sample, the black versions had all three knobs the same, the silver ones had the one silver capped knob on the right. Both types of knob here are “correct” for Systech. https://catalinbread.com/blogs/kulas-cabinet/systech-overdrive"
