not saying that the people that headcanon harper pitt as a lesbian are wrong or unjustified but i think you really have to read into the play before you say that with conviction- a lot of her frustrations and conflicts arose from being in love with joe to a fault. harper’s philosophy is that he had come to save her and most of her character arc is coming to terms with the fact that he hasn’t, he doesn’t love her but that’s not necessarily the end of her
