Here we are at 13 months post-partum. Been having somewhat of a difficult time with weaning off the breastfeeding/pumping lately, not because I don't miss having my body back entirely & not being constrained with tight schedules or eating restrictions, but because no one ever tells you that when you enter motherhood, even when you think you have it easier, there's always a challenge, a suffering, both physical & emotional. I looked it up & it's common that you get pregnancy symptoms again & you also get hit with a case of the blues too (putting it lightly). I found myself curling up on the bathroom floor so many times last week & going to bed thinking too much that I made myself cry for no reason. I'm also super tired again which sucks because my energetic tots are anything but and one thing I am not is hungry, though I keep using the bathroom often because there's no need for my body to store as much as before. It takes such a toll & yet here I share one of the best moments from this weekend. Because despite all that I have to go through, with feeling crampy, & crappy, deflated & depressed, I still have the biggest reasons to be happy - and they all happen to share the same last name #Family #HarpsterTwins #VeniceBeach and #YupIMadeMyselfCryAgain (at Venice Beach)
