When your colleague is saying the most obnoxious, cruel shit in existence and you have to remind yourself that bludgeoning comes with jail time.

Genuinely I did not need to do this to myself but something possessed me to draw an actual background for once.

So this thing that was supposed to finally get finished at the start of the day is now being put up right before I go to bed.

A reference collection for Harry Stein! At three stages of his life: little child, teenager, and adult.

The only survivor of the Freddy Fazbear murders and the only child to discover the animatronics were alive, Harry tried to raise the alarm about William Afton upon recognizing the voice of the man who tried to kill him and who ended up stabbing his eye out, but to no avail; the adults wouldn't listen or act. He would go on to rescue the first wave of Circus Baby's Pizza World animatronics (which did not include the robots from Sister Location; they were the second wave) from William Afton and keep them hidden and safe. Eventually he would become a renowned robotics expert and, secretly, the father of cybernetics in his world by inventing a functioning robot eye that would plug into the socket (and his brain) and grant him sight.

The year before he turned eighteen he brought his robot friends back to Circus Baby's, to the underground labs and storage area they'd suffered underneath in, to hide them where nobody would ever look for them. Eventually they turned the place into a home, and Harry fully moved in the night before his eighteenth birthday.

As a child he was very bright and happy, shielded from the truth of his existence by his devoted older foster brother. When his life was turned upside down by the attack at his sixth birthday party he fell apart, eventually becoming jaded- but with a soft spot for those in need and especially the robots at the new Freddy Fazbear's location he discovered had opened, being that he'd made friends with the originals.

(The red ribbon is actually from Bonnie's, and was Bonnie's first bowtie. He gave it to Harry as a gift.)

Harry's disposition is a lot calmer as an adult. At forty-two, though still suffering from trauma, he's grown up a lot and made peace with certain aspects of his life. Being away from his shitty birth family helped a lot. He's successful, confident, and has expanded his family to include many of the robots Fazbear Entertainment threw away and abandoned over the years. The underground facility is a true home, and he takes great pride in his family and treats their care with great responsibility. He would be literally willing to kill for them.
