Thought I'd share this here too as he's been quite popular over on Instagram. I decided to try a realistic piece last night and as usual, out comes John. I gave him a filter because he's fancy and lilac is a throwback to his tos days. He's such a gorgeous boy to draw.
Only been drawing about 4 months having not picked up a pencil since I was 16 so he's a little rough around the edges.
This is the card of ultimate surrender, of being suspended in time and of martyrdom and sacrifice to the greater good. This is the archetype to meditate on to help break old patterns of behaviour and bad habits that restrict you.
As a disclaimer, I’m not super into tarot as a spiritual thing, but I love the aesthetics of tarot decks, and I saw @winsbuck had some really gorgeous tarot commissions available, so I got one for Harvard!John. and it’s super lovely and the details are glorious and I probably need to get another two for Gordon and Virgil sometime, because this is just SO PRETTY and it would be super cool to have the whole spread of three cards *__*
