April 2026 Bitties
Flutter (Tendertale Grillby) These Grillbitty types are unique among their kind, namely because they are not fire elementals but instead comprised of light. Flutter bitties come in a vast array of colors, all within the visible spectrum of light, though the most common color is dark blue-violet. Younger Flutters have less control over their form than older ones, brightening and dimming based on their emotions while older Flutter bitties are capable of adjusting their light output at will. While Flutter bitties don't technically need to eat in the traditional sense, they do need to sunbathe for at least two hours a day. On days where the sun is obscured from view, a sunlamp will work in a pinch (though the bitty in question will need to sit for three hours rather than two while using it). Flutter bitties prefer soft sweaters and fluffy clothes to make them appear more approachable to others, yet are somehow still capable of pulling off an air of professionalism at work. They like keeping busy and have earned their type name for their tendency to flutter between different tasks, aiding anyone who might need them.
Sage (Tendertale Undyne) While being as brash and loud as the classic Undyne bitty, Sage types tend to at least try to think things through to minimize casualties. They don't like hurting others and will do their best to avoid it, even when they're protecting someone else, because they believe true justice does not lie in harsh physical punishment but in seeing to it that those who commit crimes pay for them. They are somewhat different in appearance than most Undersized Undynes as well, their scales being more of a dark green than blue and brownish-black hair rather than red. They tend to prefer swampy environments and dislike having to spend any length of time in hot or humid places where they will inevitably dry out. While content to eat regular monster food, Sage types enjoy noodling and are always ecstatic when they manage to catch something large (even if it's relative to their size).
Hasdiel (Tendertale Toriel) Maternal to their core, Hasdiel bitties love being able to nurture others. It doesn't matter what species, they simply enjoy being able to take care of anyone and anything. They have an extremely hard time imagining hurting anyone let alone actually doing it and are prone to tears when it comes to those they've raised leaving them. Hasdiel types are often gray-furred and tend to prefer dressing in shades of white, soft blue, and soft purple. Their speech is often somewhat formal in tone, and though they tend to drop formalities with their families they are very mindful of how they act around impressionable youngsters. It's not uncommon for them to use their dual fire and ice magic to ease aches and pains. Their protective nature is evident even in young Hasdiel bitties, who will often take charge of protecting younger children in a group or be the first to step out to help an injured animal.
Brital (Tendertale Asgore) Tender-hearted pacifists, Brital types look far more imposing than they actually are… if not for their tendency to dress in soft pinks and yellows and how easy it is to find them indulging in their preferred hobby of knitting accessories and clothes for children who go without. They are natural serial adopters and are more than happy to care for any and all children willing to give them a modicum of trust regardless of where they come from, what size they are, or how old they are. It's not unusual for them to regularly donate extra clothing that they make to adoption centers that are struggling to clothe their bitties, and even if offered money for their work they will never accept it and always insist on simply giving it for free. Brital types are excellent companions for the elderly as well, happy to support them in their daily lives and capable of recognizing medical emergencies relatively quickly.
