she’s recognizable, not because anything truly stands out about her, but because barry’s seen her more times than he can count on two hands. at several venues around the city. sure that he’d seen her at venues outside the city, as well, which was the most suspicious part to him. come to think of it, she’s not just at shows, but at sounds tests, and after parties. barry had started noticing her, more and more. now- he was on high alert. didn’t trust a groupie he saw at every single show, every single event, every single party. didn’t really trust groupies, in general. eyes squint at her, wondering if she was even old enough to be there, before he mumbled something to one of the stage guards and cut through the crowd, which was easy for a man of his stature.
closer, he leans against the railing that cuts off the bar from the venue’s concert floor, watching the blonde with a vicious eye, barely blinking as he did so. moves a little closer without being seen. closer, closer, until the private security is behind her, listening to her conversate with her acquaintance. and then he stays there, plans to follow her, if she decides to move. barry didn’t trust her. and he had a job to do, so if she tried anything, he’d be there.
