THIS ONE TIME AT BANDCAMP: Volume 42
HATEFLIRT [Cincinnati, OH]: This gooey dark pop band features members of This One Time at Bandcamp alumns, Leggy and all ladies. It’s a touch shoegazey, ultra-sultry, and sure to get stuck on your mind. The two vocalists have very different styles that play off of each other for an interesting dynamic you don’t see many places. It’s perfect for a stormy night home alone with your girlfriends.
Heathers [Los Angeles, CA]: Heathers fills that void in your soul that only jangly indie pop can complete. Some may deny, but everyone needs a little pop music in their lives, and Heathers is a great place to start. But pop music doesn’t need to be happy -- Heathers strikes gloom in all the right places and nods its head to noisy post-punk when appropriate. Their songs are colorful, nostalgic, and full of suprises.
I Know (PART TIME PUNKS SESSION) by Heathers
Spook School [Edinburgh, UK]: Spook School is indie pop with a punch. The tunes are fast, the lyrics relatable, and topped off with a subtle touch of jangle. The songs are about being young and free and confused with lots of emotions you never knew how to express -- but look no further, these Scots have your tracks covered. Spook School is so easy to fall in love with so just press play.
