can you tell us a little about what your bones and blood chars look like?
well, the Bones and Blood Club is a HUGE cast of characters that’s being added to all the time, since it’s more of a universe rather than a single novel, but i can talk about a few of my faves :)
Nico Azzara, the amber-eyed bronzed Italian sex god with the personality of a puppy, is a vampire i created especially for this universe rather than a recycled character, like a lot of other vamps in the Club. he is 5′8″, eternally sunkissed (because the irony amuses me), with wild dark hair that goes into perfect beach curls any time it’s even a little bit humid and the most devastating Bambi eyes you have ever seen on a grown man. if he wasn’t such a coward he would be the perfect person.
Dessie, a gorgon with a beautiful collection of grass snakes for hair and the sweetest heart out of anyone i’ve ever created. tall and muscular, she’d be an Amazon if it wasn’t for her multitude of scars, though tbh anyone looking at her would think she got them in fights so her self-consciousness over them is a little unwarranted. but self-consciousness is one of the lesser side effects to being kidnapped, imprisoned, and abused for fifteen years.
Angel Maambo, pure human, half-Vietnamese, half-Filipino, 100% NERD with white-tipped black hair. he is very vain about his hair. and anxious about life in general, especially his very very short soft human stature in comparison with his six-and-a-half-foot stacked werewolf boyfriend and tiny but mighty vampire girlfriend. like he is so glad he has them, but what could they possibly see in a glasses-wearing computer geek like him? what’s so special about him anyway?
Tuppence Boggs, a medium who has more freckles than any human should have a right to have and hair that went prematurely silver at age twelve. she and her twin sister November are fraternal, and look pretty much complete opposites; Tuppence is short, pale (except for those freckles), delicate, and almost insubstantial, like she could blow away at any moment. The one thing she has in common with November are their identical hazel eyes.

since Halloween is approaching, also have Bernard Bumble, a reanimate skeleton broker who used to be a cannibal in life and gets his undead jollies by watching other people eat. He speaks in jokes and puns almost exclusively and if he wasn’t so good at his job, it is likely he would’ve been dismembered for bowling pins long ago.
