I was tagged by the wonderful acciobamon for the personality test
Rules: If you don’t know your personality type, take the test here. Find out what characters share the same personality type as you here and list the characters that you find relevant below. Then tag five friends and let them know you tagged them.
My type: INTP (Assertive/Analyst)
The INTP personality type is fairly rare, making up only three percent of the population, which is definitely a good thing for them, as there's nothing they'd be more unhappy about than being "common". INTPs pride themselves on their inventiveness and creativity, their unique perspective and vigorous intellect. Usually known as the philosopher, the architect, or the dreamy professor, INTPs have been responsible for many scientific discoveries throughout history.
“Felicity Smoak from Arrow (pfft, I wish)
Armin Arlert from Attack on Titan (not that smart)
Bruce Banner/The Hulk from The Avengers (seriously, I'm not that smart, stop it, test)

Mr. Feeny from Boy Meets World (i have no words for this)
Abed Nadir from Community (YAY, Abed!)

Following my previous ask, I've also always fantasized of being an english major. My writing has always stood out to all the teachers i've ever had, and my biggest wish is to be published someday. But I just dont think i'm capable or"qualified"enough
If being an English major is something you think you want to do, go ahead and take a few English classes to see if it’s something you really do want to pursue. (Since it seems like you’re undecided on a major, take classes in a variety of subjects as well to see what interests you; ultimately, you’ll find something you like and the breadth of disciplines you’ve explored in the process will still help you be good at that thing you like, whether it’s sociology or psychology or philosophy or even subjects outside of the humanities and social sciences.)
Your teachers aren’t messing with you by telling you that you’re a good writer. They’ve read TONS of student writing, and they know promising writing when they see it. However, it’s all too easy for people to be their own worst critics; I fall into this trap, and it sounds like you might too.
The beauty of majoring in something is that you get better at that thing. Was I a fairly decent writer in high school? Grades and feedback I received suggest yes. Have my reading and writing schools improved in college? HECK YES!! That’s why I became an English major—so I could hone these skills; this process won’t stop after I graduate either, especially if I don’t let it.
Take classes, read good writing, practice writing by writing, and allow yourself to grow.
~book list~
rules: in a text post, list ten books that have stayed with you in some way. Don’t take but a few minutes, and don’t think too hard — they don’t have to be the “right” or “great” works, just the ones that have touched you. tag [ten] friends, including me,…
(I wanna choose some my lovely followers too, so stay on the lookout)
