this is going to make me sound so big and greedy but s2 didn't feel like the "radiostatic season". to me. it was more so vox being vox.
#haz.bin#broadcasters#.txt#native file format#radiostatic to me is that moment in episode 5 when alastor rolls his eyes and immediately looks back at vox to gauge his reaction#it's alastor grabbing that wire in the season finale and it twirling around his arm. and it practically orbiting him#until he rips it#it's alastor looking away when vox's eyes widen at “I respected you”#need that mutually insane bullshit#I wiiiish we got to see al's shadow more I need to know what he's feeling!!!! I need to know what goes on inside his head!!!!#to me most of the juice of this relationship comes from two people being insane about each other in fundamentally different ways#if s3 doesn't explore alastor's side of things and it's confirmed to be 100% onesided in every respect I kms#genuinely I don't want them to kiss or fuck or whatever#I just want alastor to miss what they used to be. who vox used to be#I want the whole partnership thing to be something he found genuinely distressing#because he wanted vox to be stronger than him/thought vox wanted to use him#(because presumably if he knew vox's human name‚ vox told him other shit too)#(and he's familiar with how vox operates)#fuuuuuuck the fact that vox didn't even get to kill alastor but copied him anyway#tried to replace him anyway‚ tried to get rid of him in every way that mattered#everything post rejection really does read to me as vox's lifelong modus operandi#except alastor is the one that got away#so like. no wonder alastor rejected him. he knows very well what vincent does to the people he finds inspiring
