a small comic i did for my OCs (my OC and original stories blog is toomuchplot btw)

the lyrics are from The Pitiful Children from the musical Be More Chill, and this idea popped into my head while i was listening to the song and posting art of them at the same time, and suddenly realized - wait, i can 100% imagine hazel singing this

anyway, the story here is about hazel who thinks life is just like playing the sims, and her friends are just characters whose lives she can fix, even if they don’t want it. she also believes in the power of True Love, so once she decides that her best friend cole (in the green sweater) must be horribly miserable because he’s been single his entire life, she is set on finding him a partner

the story (it’s a game actually) is called The Matchmaker, and i wanted it be a twist on the dating sims and also a lesson on why you shouldn’t meddle with people’s lives even if you have the best intentions in mind. clover (the girl with glasses) represents the sane part of meddling, like intervention, etc. the game has multiple endings, even a good one
