The overabundance of screens definitely wasn’t creepy at all.
In order to better fit in, she had to make rounds with the V’s — and by far, THIS part of the tower was the most downright fucking weirdest. The incessant buzzing of monitors made her feel itchy as if bugs were crawling in her ears — and the bright lights only made her already damaged eyes narrow from the stinging sensation.

Emily crossed her arms, looking up at Sera. She'd been really hurt, not just by the lying, but everything. Sure she didn't want to fall, but she had to do something. She should be showing the new arrival around, but instead, she was stuck talking to Sera.
