From the prompt [ ☔ sharing an umbrella]
Bebe had hoped she’d be home by now. She wanted to squeeze in a nap after practice but it looks like that won’t be happening for a while. It was raining cats and dogs and the outfit she changed into was to expensive to be ruined by rain. She she decided to just wait it out in front of the school so that the second it stops she can run to her house.
She probably would have missed this rain if it weren’t for the other cheerleaders being horrible and falling down a bunch or almost dropping people. Like you’re a cheerleader how do you not know how to balance?
She was pulled out of her inner rantings by someone walking out of the school, and the first thing Bebe noticed was that they were carrying an umbrella. Score. She looked up to see who it was and it was Kyle. Double score. Kyle had morals and whatever he wouldn’t just abandon her here.
“Hey Kyle would you mind sharing your umbrella with me?”
He turned to her, blinking twice in surprise.
“Hey, Bebe.” He nodded firmly. “Sure, come on!”
He thought she was cool, so of course he was helping her- and, even if he didn’t think she was, he would help her out too; he had a high moral ground, damn it!
He opened his red umbrella, and it was big enough to comfortably cover two people from the rain. As they started their walk home, their shoulders bumping and brushing slightly, it started raining harder, causing the redhead to wince and curse lowly.
