Emma is terrified of the dark. It is a fear she is utterly ashamed of and nervous to admit to people which means not just anyone gets invited to her apartment. Said apartment is littered with lights, it is never completely dark. Even having night light level support against darkness does not fully ease her tension, but she’s learned to reign in her fear enough to function. But in her room the lights are always on. Always. If she goes out at night she tries to deck herself out in glowy bracelights and necklaces, keeps a flashlight in her purse. She is never sure when she’s going to be able to hang on to her bravery or when she might have a panic attack.
She is shy and quiet, deeply introspective, especially now as she’s trying to avoid all her favorite temptations.
