Hello everyone. Due to the saddening news today, we heavily heavily considered not dropping our mini-event as promised, especially given its theme, nor doing the special acceptances. But we made our promises and we thought it’d be unfair to the pending apps since we specifically announced that we would, so please still try to give them a warm welcome. And as for our event we aren’t posting it for any selfish reason at all, but instead let’s consider this festival as a celebration of the beautiful life Kim Jonghyun led, all the work he did in standing up for what he believed in and advocating marginalized groups. Please, let us not forget the good he brought to this world. 

If you have your opinions about our decisions today, we understand. If the dash is a little quiet today or in the following days, please try to understand (please also don’t judge anyone on the dash, let people deal with things how they want to). If you need time off, do not hesitate to ask us for a hiatus. And if you or anyone you know are suffering from any suicidal thoughts or depression, please reach out to someone, please know you’re not alone, and please hold on.

Our hearts are heavy, and these posts starting from the accepted bios have been queued as we couldn’t bring ourselves to be on for much today, so we apologize if we missed any messages or apps after our initial update this afternoon at around 1PM EST. We will try to pick ourselves up and return to our regular scheduled activity and posting come tomorrow afternoon. In the meantime, we would like to send you our utmost strength and positivity. Lastly, again, please let us remember him for the good he brought to this world.

Hello! We hope you all are having a good holiday! Both admins underestimated how busy we’d be during this time, so we apologize for general slowness. We’ll be pretty busy again today, so we’ll be offline for the rest of the day, but rest assured we’ll be back to read apps and all that tomorrow! If we missed any of your gifts of delibird prompts, please let us know and we’ll get to that tomorrow afternoon as well!

Hello everyone! First, welcome to the new members from this week, and current members please don’t forget to give them all warm welcomes! Other than that, we’re here to say there unfortunately won’t be a legendary/mythical hunt posted today due to the admins being busy in real life with new years coming up. The prompt requires us to be online and active at least at first, so we’ve decided to postpone it until we’re able to be online for a decent amount of time after release. So for now, we’ve decided that it will likely go up Wednesday evening after any acceptances there may be!

We apologize if you were looking forward to it, but we promise it’s coming soon! And no worries, next Saturday will definitely still have something to look forward to as well despite a prompt coming out just days before. Otherwise, we hope you guys have a good new years and thank you all again for being here and closing out 2017 with us!

WELCOME TO YOUR HALCYON DAYS

Whew!! 30 apps later, we’re happy to announce we’re officially open! Again, we cannot thank you guys enough for this amazing, unexpected response (exactly 3x the apps we required for opening!!!) and we’re so happy to have you here with us. Please remember to follow everyone from the masterlist, send everyone a welcome message, and plot, plot, plot! We’re super excited to see the world we’ve built come to life with your muses, and we hope it keeps growing and stays around for a while. And that’s all the mushy-ness you’ll get from us tonight! 

We do still have a few things to say though:

Remember to add 20 pokédollars onto your points page for being accepted!

We will be having a mini opening event, but we’re going to wait until tomorrow evening to post it to allow you guys some time to get to know each other and get situated before we start an event, no matter how mini it is.

We will however also introduce our first timed prompt. That will come out later tonight since you can do it as a solo prompt (though you can certainly thread it out with someone if you wish and you need some thread ideas)!

If you couldn’t get in on time for opening today, we will be having special acceptances tomorrow evening if we get any additional apps tonight! After that, we’ll typically follow the timed acceptances we have outlined in our guidelines (wednesday and saturday evenings est) unless anything comes up, but we’ll always let you guys know if that changes.

Hello everyone!! We hope you’re still super excited for tonight, because we sure are! We just wanted to quickly say that any apps we receive from now on will unfortunately not be processed for opening tonight, as we need a little time to get a few things finished for opening. But fret not, we will be accepting again tomorrow if we get any apps tonight, so you won’t miss out for too long! 

Other than that, we’ll be opening in 2 hours from this posting at 5PM EST! Again, we’re super excited to meet and write with all of your wonderful muses. Thank you all!

Hello! This post is mostly here for any potential applicants. Due to unforeseen circumstances, the admins are a little busy in real life today. As such, we won’t be able to go over and accept any more bios we get for tonight’s acceptances. However, if we do get any applications while we’re out today, we’ll gladly accept them tomorrow!

We just wanted to post a quick note for potential applicants, any applications we receive today from this point forward will unfortunately not make it for acceptances tonight. Hello everyone! Happy one week of halcyon! It’s been a rough week, so we hope everyone’s taking care of themselves first and foremost. Again, if you need some time off don’t be afraid to ask for a hiatus, your health is always the most important. Aside from that, we have a couple announcements to make: 

If you haven’t completed your gifts of delibird prompt yet, remember that you have until the end of today to do so (11:59PM EST). We won’t be super strict on that though, so if you post it at some time between tonight and tomorrow while we’re offline, that’s totally fine. But anything after we start replying to the last few prompts tomorrow unfortunately won’t be counted. 

On a similar vein, we believe we mentioned previously that these type of prompts would be weekly, but we’ve decided that we don’t really want to pump in too many legendaries and shinies into the universe, because otherwise they wouldn’t be quite as rare. This first week was a special occasion. From now on, these kind of prompts that allow you to find legendaries/mythicals/shinies will be bi-weekly, and unlike this gift prompt you aren’t always guaranteed a pokémon for completing it, especially if the pokémon in question is a legendary. We hope that doesn’t deter you from completing them from now on, but we do want to keep things relatively balanced!

In the interim, whenever there is no special timed prompt, instead we’ll be putting out memes! Ranging from SNS memes to drabble memes to starter memes to other simple question and answer memes. If you have suggestions, please do let us know because we’d love to hear them.

And lastly, thanks to a suggestion from one of our lovely members we’ve added a new group for pokémon rangers! You can read more about them on the groups page!
