Summary: Henry brings up a big conversation
Hastily, the soft yellow burn of the sun broke through the sheer curtains. Despite the rude awakening of the natural light, you were in a blissful bubble. The marks of last nights explorations laced your skin with a sweet husky scent that would last right up until your next excursion. Looking down, your slender frame was captured by a bear like grip. Henry’s hard muscles encased you in and overwhelming warmth which traveled quickly south. In this moment you had everything. Henry remained fast asleep with his deep curls framing his tired eyes. You smirked sinisterly as you were always the one who kept him up late.
That small smirk grew to take over your entire face as you were pulled back to the blissful events of last night. breathing hitched, Henrys rock hard erection pounded into the tight cavern between you legs. His thrusts sent vibrations through your body like current through a circuit. Despite the thick girth threatening to tear you in two, your bodies moved in perfect harmony. Tonight was different. There was a primal urge that shot through Henry’s defined body. Everyone had to know that you were his. Towering above your exposed body, Henry leant down to tease every inch of skin.
Ripped from your daydream, you feel the soft movements of your passionate lover trailing kisses over your soft arms.
“Morning my little lamb” Henry said as his warm breath left shivers down your spine. Turning carefully, you move to face the burly bear. Your hand grazed over his toned chest as your eyes meet an intense stare.
“What’s going on in that head of yours?” The words slip from your mouth like water on a spoon. Urgently, two muscular arms pulled you close to his chest and your head sat just below his chin. The urge to keep you close, caused Henry to intertwine your legs together. His naked body grazed your sensitive mound but the radiating heat of Henry made you gasp and the new sensation.
“I want you to consider something for me” the sensitivity in Henry’s voice scared you as the husky man before you showed a more intimate side. All you could bare was a soft nod.
“What would you say to expanding our small cavalry?” Henry’s words made you shiver in fear.
10 years ago, you and Henry had been together for 2 years and everything was great until he asked a dastardly question. Marry Me? You weren’t ready but you couldn’t ask him to wait for you. Separating was hard but eventually you moved on. Or so you thought. After three years, you bumped into each other again. In that moment and every moment since you’ve felt a guilt pulling you down. Your hearts were so heavily entwined that despite the time apart you had loved and respected him. Now here you were, 7 years in a healthy loving relationship with the man who never stopped thinking about you. Yours and Henry’s love had developed into a beautiful harmony which finally meant you’d wear the diamond ring that burned a whole in his pocket. Even though you were at your strongest, you never thought you’d have this conversation.
“Y/N, what if we had a baby?” There it was. That one word that mad you question your purpose as a woman. Baby. Silence fell between you as Henry pushed away to see your scared and thoughtless face.
“Hen-“ you tried to put into words your fear but the warm air suffocated you. The bed dipped as Henry removed his grasp on your body. Dread. Overwhelming dread. You saw your entire world leave you in the cold sheets of the early morning.
“It was just a thought” the pain smothered Henry’s words. He didn’t understand because you never told him.
Despite your need for Henry growing during your separation, you tried to move on. But you kept getting pulled back to a reality where Henry was the sun. Like Henry, you were an actor which came with its own strain and stress on everyday life. Maybe you missed the signs. Mistaking morning sickness for jet lag or lack of energy with overworking. 3 months after your separation, you found yourself lying in the bath before an excruciating pain took over your entire body. Your natural instincts shoot in and you phoned 111 to speak to a paramedic. But you never expected to have to call 999 for an ambulance. Red gush escaped your body at an extreme rate. By the time you’d reached the hospital, you knew exactly what you’d just lost. Your baby. More importantly, you and Henry’s baby. A guilt raged your mind and feed its way deep into your soul. In the years since, you couldn’t bare telling Henry and eventually you’d let the memory slip from your daily thoughts. Until now. How could you tell Henry you wanted the baby you lost?
In the moments you’d spent trapped in your own mind, Henry had dressed and left without saying goodbye. Although a large American Akita had snuggled into the messy covers beside you. A soft lick from Kal reminded you of all the love that his owner had for you. He would always accept you but it would take time.
