Felicity was in love. It was complicated and it was messy at the moment, but it was hers. It wasn’t her first relationship, maybe not even her first time being in love, but this tie was different. She didn’t know what it was about Kai that drew her to him. She knew about his past, how could she be in this community and not know, but that was the past. People were allowed to change. These were the thoughts that were going through her head as she sat with her book open in her lap on a bench in the quad after her shift at the library.
