Steve making that whole plan, Dustin’s proud smile, the “Rubik’s cube isn’t a good judge anyway”, the encouragement—ugh, it all means so much to me. Obviously the episode was wonderful for a myriad of reasons, but holy shit that moment just takes the cake for me. There are so many cracks made over the seasons, even by Steve himself, about how he’s just the brawn and he’s not smart enough to get the plans and all that and I just think it’s beautiful that Dustin sees how it wears him down. That he was there to offer encouragement when he knew teasing wasn’t what Steve needed
