According the ‘Whatever Happens’, Ray and Rose would have their date nights, their latest one being one at a coffee shop-type venue.
I’d like to think that it may be the reason why Ray was out that night at Eats and Beats, to keep with tradition of going out even though Rose isn’t here anymore.
He probably would sit at the tables and watch the performances, taking notes of the acts that his wife would have especially loved.
