Monsters University Headcanon!

(and yes, it is Randall-based, applies mainly to my humanoid!AU)

After his humiliating Scare Games incident and subsequent expulsion from Roar Omega Roar, Randall nonetheless continued his scaring studies for the remaining three years (in spite of other monsters laughing and making fun of him). However, starting that summer after his freshman year, he joined a traveling circus, where he practiced and perfected his agility and camouflage on his own. In the fall, he would return to study at MU, but when spring ended and summer started, the circus was his home.

Eventually after graduation, Randall quit his summer circus job, and got his job at Monsters, Inc. Although focused on becoming Top Scarer, he misses his days of performing acrobatics, where everyone cheered him on and applauded his amazing feats of serpentine flexibility.
