#thorn talks #comic jesse is a guy who needs to work on some stuff but he's overall not like. a horrible guy #show jesse is just completely unlikable to me #he's just. mean #JESSE ISN'T SUPPOSED TO BE MEAN!!#overall i do enjoy the tv adaptation but it's just. not preacher to me #also not forgiving them for changing the saint of killer's origin reveal that much #because the saint of killers special is genuinely my favourite part of the comics #and that's saying something when blood & whiskey is right there and i am obsessed with cassidy #but the saint of killers special is just so well written. terrifying guy but he's one of the most interesting characters imo #i don't like that they made him overly trigger happy in the tv show as well #like in the comics he is willing to have an actual discussion and to not immediately resort to violence #as long as someone isn't trying to stop him or get in his way. and that works way better with the fact that jesse is able to make the deal #and it makes him a more complex character than just “angry man shoots stuff”#HE'S COLD.#HE'S SO COLD FROM BITTER HATRED THAT HE MADE HELL FREEZE OVER AND THEY TOOK THAT OUT!!#i can understand some changes to save budget but. pls.
