Kurashi was having a really, really bad day.
It all started with him being woken up by his editor and reminded, in a very impatient and annoyed voice, that he couldn’t sleep off all the nights he spent drawing just yet; that he had to go to that signing event and meet with his fans, and look nice and not tired at all.
It was enough to make the raven sigh.
The signing session itself wasn’t that bad. Kurashi liked interacting with his fans, and it was always a huge ego boost, seeing how many of them came, and listening to them tell him what they like about his art and storyline and characters. Some girls even came dressed like his own characters, and Kurashi couldn’t help but smile, congratulate them on their skill with a needle and let them take a photo with himself.
But as he was walking out of the little bookshop the signing took place in, with his spirits slightly higher and already happy for the prospect of finally getting some sleep, one of the girls from the cosplay group approached him again. And this time, she acted not even half as nice as before. She was insistent, told him with crazy glint in her eye how she is a number one fan of his, how she would love to see his workplace, his home, and so on...
Needless to say, Kurashi run for it when he first had the chance to. And still, the girl followed him. Finally, not seeing any other way, the mangaka bolted behind a tall, blond man standing on the pavement by a little coffee shop and hid behind him.
“I am terribly sorry, sir, I promise I will pay you back for the inconvenience, but please hide me.” he said in quite a scared voice, too.
