The snow cracked under her feet. It’s been frozen again and Hela could feel the coldness running from her toes upwards her thighs. She took the last steps into Laufey’s temple. Her muscles were burning. Why was she even doing this? Political diplomacy? Curiosity? Maybe a mix of both. She was Asgard’s princess and heir to the throne Odin denied her. What options were there even left? Hela had to go this path. She had to convince Laufey his ally with her was the right choice. If you promise something you gotta deliver. At least when you take something for your own favor - Laufey was expecting something in return. So was she doing enough? Hela wanted to be sure and took a deep breath before she reached the doof of Laufey’s chamber.
