Just got home from seeing Hell House Lineage and all I have to say before bed is:
I want to crawl inside Stephen Cognetti’s head and take a nap there. Incredible storytelling, as usual. Phenomenal cinematography.
If you have a chance to go see it, please do so! But watch the rest of the franchise first, they all tie together so fucking well.
Abaddon Hotel (Hell House LLC) on 35mm
The documentary/found footage style of storytelling is integral to the Hell House movies. It has been for four movies. Why did Lineage suddenly abandon this? I absolutely think the same story and information could have been disseminated in the expected format.
is this a safe space to confess that i love this clown with my entire heart? and that i also would live in that dingy ass basement of the abaddon hotel with him and hold his hand while we sat at the piano together and he played music? and that he needs approx. 100 smoochies on his cheeks? if it's not idc it's a safe space to me so enjoy my disgusting brain bugs that love scary clowns and wanna smooch em!!!!

Started watching Hell House LLC Lineage and HIPAA has already been violated.
Just watched Hell house lineage and maybe im crazy because. Even fans of the franchise said they hated it. But legitimately, it was kind of amazing. I feel like this movie not being found footage gave the director more freedom to tie everything together. And boy did he. And still left us on a good little cliffhanger twist. Which I think fit the final movie well, weirdly enough. I feel like the atmosphere, cinematography, writing, acting was all just chef’s kiss. I’ve been a fan of the hell house films for a few years now. Im a little sad we won’t get another installment though, and I’m disappointed that many people disliked lineage. Especially since i neeeed to blab about this movie omg. It was FASCINATING. So so so interesting and even the music was awesome.
